This Christmas season you have been SO.EXCITED to drive around the neighborhoods to look at all of the houses that have been decorated with a few to many lights. We have all smiled to show you the lights and see your joy! Just tonight, Addie spotted a lit Rudolph and made us turn around so that she could make sure that you saw it too! When we asked her where it was, she pointed out a rather small deer, but it did have a red blinking light for its nose. So cute! However, I think you were more impressed with the giant blue cookie monster sitting right next to Rudolph. Sparkly blue lights!!
When you wake up in the morning, you turn on the Christmas tree and you take one final look before going to bed at night. When I dropped you off at Julie's last week for the day, in the time that it took me to get your sister inside, you had walked Julie around her house saying "lights - on" - she had turned on all of her lights in that few minutes, Christmas tree, her decorated houses, etc.
Son, I fear that you will be very disappointed when Christmas is over and the lights start coming down.
You also seem to really like blow-ups for the outdoors. We have a small Snoopy house with Snoopy and Woodstock sitting on top. You say "Issie, up" when it is on, and we have convinced you that he takes a nap during the day, so you say "Issie, nap!!" In our neighborhood, we have seen a Mickey and a Minnie on a sled, a Snoopy riding a motorcycle, a Mater, and of course the two crazy houses with hundreds of figurines in the yard!
I love that you also love lights and all of the Christmas decorations!
