Dear John,

I know that you are all boy, especially when you come home from Grandpa's and Mimi's house with scratches and bruises on your forehead and nose with a busted lip! These bumps may be your first, but most likely will not be your last. Your Grandpa feels so bad for your injuries!

You are just so quick. And you like to move quickly. Grandpa set you down from the car in the garage for a second to get something out of the car. In that second, you were off and running to the sloped driveway. Your little feet, your balance and the driveway were no match. Yes, you bit it.
